Any Metroid-style games out there?

are there any Metroid styles game out there worth playing? Games that are almost an exact clone of Metroid (almost exact clones, no Metroidvanias, no Battlekid, an almost exact clone and/or ripoff) with the same style of exploration and using maps to keep track of where you went?
