Would anyone consider Nazis evil or not evil?

My take, by using the simple definition of evil and without getting into absolute evil or relative evil, based on Nazis history and behaviors, warrant the label evil. To say Nazis were not evil or as others believe in taking the Greek approach "that evil is simply a deficiency in the Good", is totally absurd. If the Nazis, led by the genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, as part of a program of deliberate extermination planned and executed by the Nazi regime in Germany led by Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin were not the epitome of EVIL, then what does?
