I don't think it's safe. Some people can be trusted but some people aren't. There are people on the net who might just be pretending to be someone they're really not or maybe they're a totally different person. There are also people who are very good at telling lies and all that. I know people who were victims of those kinds of situations. There are some who'd want to meet up with you but they're actually attempting to kidnap you or something (there's 1-out-of-10 chances of that happening but I wouldn't risk it). Although sometimes you can't help falling in love even if you know it's not right.
