Are TV ariel boosters worth buying? anyone recommend a good one?

Don't buy one from the high street stores, they're crap. I used to have Labgear amplifiers when doing UHF DX TV years ago. You get them from the trade dealers and are the ones that are used on the masts. There's nothing stopping you from having it indoors providing you have a 'short' cable length.
