Do your kids watch movies at school?

My kids aren't in school yet, but I watched movies occasionally when I was in school and when I worked in a school the kids watched movies some times. I always hated it, I remember thinking if I'm going to sit here and watch this ridiculous movie and waste my time I might as well be at home. Usually teachers just put a movie on once in a while as a treat for a Christmas party or something, but if they really want to give a treat then they should just send the kids home two hours early instead!
