Do u know the name of this movie?

I saw parts of this movie while flipping through the channels (couldn't watch the whole movie cause we only have tv plus my dad and brother were watching football all day long) and it had the kid who played “malcolm” from malcolm in the middle”and hilary duff. It seemed like some sort of spy movie cause the kid who played malcolm had to try and get close to hilary so he could do some kinda mission. He had to try and get himself invited to her party so he tries talking to her but that fails rather quickly so he the tries to impress her with his driving but that doesn't work. So then he safes her from a falling off a ladder and she invites him. Does anybody here have any idea what this movie might be called?
